Places to Visit in Ashland
The 215-acre park is a great place to go for a walk along one of the trails and hear frogs, see wildlife, and smell wildflowers. Audubon Wetlands Preserve has two half-mile trails and a longer two-mile trail.
The preserve includes a marsh and swamp oak forest with a variety of trees, including swamp white oak and pawpaw. You can have lunch or rest at the picnic pavilion. Visit Audubon Wetlands Preserve to experience nature, feel the sunlight, and smell the fresh air.

Honey Haven Farm is a family-owned farm with a market, greenhouse, and seasonal events. Most of the vegetables in the farm market are grown at Honey Heaven. They also have a greenhouse that sells flowers, planters, and flats. The Fall Festival has a pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, and wagon rides. Honey Haven Farm sells flowers, and they are especially busy on Mother's Day.

Grandpa's Cheesebarn is a family-owned store that sells local cheese and other foods. It was opened in 1978 by Grandma and Grandpa Baum (Paul and Vera). The business is a legacy of family cheese making, which started with Vera's father.

The District at Ashland is a great place to live! The buildings are brand new and the everything is nicely kept up. Employees are also very helpful.
